Pedicabbing is a fantastic job for showing off your unique personality. Drivers are the backbone of our company. As a Pedicab Operator you function as an independent operator, renting bikes with the ability to “run your own business.” That being said, Newport Pedicab also provides unique opportunities for you as a Pedicab Operator. Newport Pedicab is always looking for advertising and campaign opportunities, often providing work and a paycheck when the rides aren’t always around.
Primary Requirements
- 21 Years of Age
- Fluent in the English Language
- Capable of riding a bike for an 8-hour shift
- Attend Orientation and complete training
- Valid Drivers License (any state)
Pedicabbing is a physically strenuous job and requires a certain amount of preparation. You will be carrying up to 400 lbs behind you for 7 hours at a time. You should be comfortable lifting about 45 lbs over your head. That being said, anyone who knows how to ride a bike is the perfect candidate for this job. Drivers say after two months of working they’re in the best shape of their lives.
